New knife – Puukko with handforged blade

Today I finished a new knife with a red/brown micarta handle and a beautiful hand forged blade from finnish blade smith Marko Lindelä. It’s a small and handy knife with a rather short and slim drop-shaped handle. I am quite pleased with the look and feel of the knife. The next step will be the sheath. But as of now I’m not quite sure how it’s going to be like. Maybe I will go for a more traditional style sheath with a wooden core and stitching on the back. But a simple sheath would suit the knife as well, I guess, since the knife really has a sort of practical/utility feel to it. Maybe even kydex?
